You are looking at Anchor Petroleum, 1 of 8 Different Lionel Body Full Scale O Tank cars, All of which were owned by a 1949 Member of the Elizabeth Model Railroad Club, Elizabeth NJ. All tank cars were skillfully painted and decaled probably in the late 1940s or early 1950s. This Anchor Pertroleum tanker has a Lionel 715 Cast Metal full scale O tank on top of a Lionel full scale 715-16 Chassis.
